About the workshop

Exploration of Astrology as one of the earliest forms of psychology. The day will include:

– A brief history of astrology and astronomy to set the scene.

– Introduction of psychological components of the 12 signs and the role of the planets in explaining the birth (or natal) chart.

– Exploration of the birth chart as a way to explore personality.

– How Jung used tarot and astrology.

– The role of symbols and symbolism in our lives.

Bring along your time, place and date of birth and Ruth will show you ways of looking up your own chart.

Open to all levels.

About the trainer

Ruth Grier has a Diploma in Integrative Counselling (Wealden Psychology Institute) and a background in Person Centred therapy, Gestalt, bereavement work, LGBTQ+ affirmative therapy and trauma work. Ruth likes to work in an integrative and creative way and likes to raise mindfulness and awareness of the body.
